UFC on FOX 6 change: Josh Janousek replaces injured Buddy Roberts against Michael Kuiper
Posted on January 16, 2013

Josh Janousek
Josh Janousek (8-1) has replaced injured Buddy Roberts (12-3) on the January 26, 2013 ‘UFC on FOX 6: Johnson vs Dodson’ card against fellow middleweight Michael Kuiper (12-1).
Josh Janousek will be fighting in the UFC for the first time in his professional career. Janousek, the JUCO national wrestling champion and a Division II All-American, made his pro debut in 2008 and has only lost since then. Of his 8 wins, five have come by way of ‘knockout by punches’ or ‘submission by punches’. He’s only fought professionally once in the last 2+ years though, with his last fight being on April 15, 2011. That’s beyond ring rust, that’s ring erosion. Still, I watched one of his fights, his first fight incidentally, on YouTube and he’s a beast, so it should be a fun one to watch.

Buddy Roberts vs. Michael Kuiper
Middleweights Buddy Roberts (12-3) and Michael Kuiper (12-1) have been matched up and added to the ‘UFC on FOX 6: Johnson vs Dodson’ card which takes place January 26, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois.
Buddy Roberts was on a nice 6-fight win streak with a unanimous decision win over Caio Magalhaes in his UFC debut capping it all off this past June. The streak ended though his last time out when he then suffered a second round TKO loss to Yushin Okami at UFC 150. He took that fight on late notice and fought well against Okami while the fight remained standing, but once Okami went to the clinch and ground game, he dominated and got the stoppage.

UFC 150: Henderson vs Edgar II – Bonuses and Results
Posted on August 12, 2012

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone
A pretty good card overall. The rematch between Henderson and Edgar was another very close fight that could have gone either way. Cowboy Cerrone and Melvin Guillard delivered big time with an action packed first round, and 6 of 10 fights ended with a knockout or submission.
The attendance at the Pepsi Center was 15,008 with a gate of $650,000.

UFC 150: Henderson vs Edgar II – Weigh-In Results
Posted on August 11, 2012

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone
Weigh-ins for ‘UFC 150: Henderson vs Edgar II’ took place Friday afternoon at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, the same venue that hosts the fights Saturday night. Melvin Guillard was the only fighter who missed weight at 157.5. He was given two hours to cut to the lightweight maximum of 156 pounds, but he elected instead to surrender an undisclosed percentage of his fight purse to Cerrone.
Overall, Guillard missing weight was the only real point of interest during the weigh-in. He really looked like he was struggling as he made his way to the scale. It’s much better for the body though to not force out those last few pounds. so smart move to just concede the percentage of his purse. Given Guillard and Cerrone are buddies, Cerrone probably didn’t even charge him.
