What an absolutely action-packed night of fights. Best card of the year so far as there wasn’t a single boring fight. From top to bottom, all great fights.
At the top of the card, Urijah and Scottie went back and forth before one technical slip up by Scottie led him into a rear-naked choke. Great effort by both fighters with Urijah looking as sharp as ever. We then had the big upset as Kelvin inched out a decision over much-hyped Uriah Hall. No shame for Hall though who looked great, but Kelvin was just slightly better. Actually, the decision really could have gone either way. Kelvin wins season 17 of The Ultimate Fighter, but excited to have both of these guys in the middleweight division.

Overview
It’s the tale of the two-fight skids as both these guys look to end theirs. Bart Palaszewski lost his last two by unanimous decision to Hatsu Hioki and Diego Nunes. Prior to that, Palaszewski knocked out Tyson Griffin at UFC 137 and earned the “Knockout of the Night” bonus for the effort. At only 29 years of age, Bart already has 52 professional fights under his belt. He has always been one of my favorite fighters to watch in the WEC back in the day where he went 5-3 with some great knockouts.
