Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller arrested naked in California church on suspicion of burglary

Jason 'Mayhem' Miller arrested naked in California church on suspicion of burglaryPolice in Orange County, California arrested Jason “Mayhem” Miller this morning on suspicion of burglary following an alleged break-in at a church in Mission Viejo.

Miller is currently in custody as police conduct a medical evaluation with bail set at $20,000. He is expected to be arraigned within 48 hours.

Sheriff’s Department Director of Media Relations Jim Amormino said that deputies were summoned to Mission Hills Church at 9 a.m. on Monday when a Pastor dialed 911 and reported that someone had broken into the church. Deputies saw a broken window, broken pictures, scattered CDs and books, and glass when they arrived on scene. Retardant from a fire extinguisher had also been sprayed throughout the church. Police then found Miller naked on a couch upstairs and took him into custody. Amormino added:

“We don’t know if he broke the window the night before in the attempted burglary and that’s how he entered last night”

Miller (28-9) was released from the UFC in May after a loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146. The former “Bully Beatdown” host and coach on “The Ultimate Fighter 14″ recently drew headlines when he engaged UFC President Dana White on Twitter.

“Since you never allowed me to officially retire, I am now a Warrior for Peace and Ultimate Fighter for Justice.”

White subsequently told reporters that he regretted the confrontation.

“I’m sure he’s not going through a very good time right now, no matter how much he wants to say he is.”

Ryan Parsons, Miller’s longtime manager, said he stopped working with Miller one month ago.

Miller has always been an entertaining fighter with a very big personality. His tweets have also been interesting over the years. We wish him the best.

  1. This bites. Wish him the best. Miller has always been entertaining and it sucks seeing him go through this. Hopefully it will all end up okay for him.

  2. Yep. If one was comparing humanity to nature then Mayhem would be a brilliant rainbow in the midst of a ton of grey rocks. That guy thinks and lives in a way that is pretty much on the edge of brilliance and insanity. This time he’s slipped a little too far into the insanity side and fingers crossed there will be those around him who will help pull him back to his normal brilliant self. I’ve read some articles that suggest he is off his meds, and it would be wonderful if it was as simple as that, i.e. get him back on the meds and we get the old Mayhem back.

  3. Miller’s always been a bit wacky, this didn’t surprise me too much but I do hope he gets his act together. Shame about his poor performance and sacking from the UFC. UFC needs more characters and self-promoters.

  4. I live pretty close to the neighborhood they found him in and he’s dam lucky to be a white boy! Mission Viejo is a very homogenous upper/middle class white bedroom community and they don’t allow strange shit to occur, period! Had he been a brown, black or other we may have been reading his obituary…But on a plus, those high rent areas typically have better social services and he should get the treatments and help he needs to get on with himself!
