A major cut suffered while training has forced Rory MacDonald out of his fight against B.J. Penn at UFC 152 next month.
Word from Dana White was that MacDonald’s cut is over his left eye and that it was a very deep cut that required several stitches. No word yet on if B.J. Penn will remain on the card but it’s highly unlikely given he more or less came out of retirement to fight MacDonald after Rory called him out online.

nasty cut dude, looks like a street fight wound! This guy so young I couldn’t image him needing to take enhancing drugs but who knows? Maybe this is a good thing for BJ in the end, I think this kid would have mopped the floor with him!
