If you’ve been watching TUF: Brazil you will appreciate this fight just added to the UFC 147: Franklin vs. Silva II card. Eliminated featherweight fighters Hugo “Wolverine” Viana (5-0) and John “Macapa” Teixeira (13-0-1) were matched up and will battle it out come June 23rd.

IMHO, this is a fight for who the second best featherweight is in the house. It’s not Pepey, who made it through pretty luckily as he didn’t have to face Rodrigo Damm, who got injured. It’s not Damm, who beat Macapa but I thought it was a bad call on the decision as Damm just tried to hold him the whole fight. Macapa’s got skills, and so does Wolverine, who lost a close one to Rony “Jason”.

This will be a very entertaining fight I’m sure as both of these guys are tough as nails, and both love to bang.
