UFC 161: Evans vs. Henderson

Overview
Isaac Vallie-Flagg was originally slated to take on Sam Stout but was forced to withdraw due to an injury. Replacing him and making his UFC debut is James Krause.

Sam Stout is just coming off a win over Caros Fodor at UFC 157 this past February. The native Canadian then quickly signed up for the Isaac Vallie-Flagg fight only a few weeks following UFC 157, which seems to indicate that Stout prefers fighting in his home country. Stout fought three times in 2012 and could be on the same pace for this year. As for his game, we’ve been seeing a shift in style over the past year or two from being predominantly a striker to becoming a more well-rounded and conservative fighter. It should be interesting to see what his game plan is for a finisher like Krause.

Cain Velasquez looks to Heaven as thanks for his knockout victory over Antonio "Big Foot" Silva at UFC 160We had only two stoppages prior to hitting the main card, but that changed in a hurry as four of the five main card fights ended with brilliant stoppages.
