MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)

• Rich Franklin def. Wanderlei Silva via Unanimous Decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46)
NOTES: Epic battle. Went to the wire as they banged away all the way through.
• Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira def. Sergio “Serginho” Moraes via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) to become the “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” middleweight winner.
NOTES: Outstanding fight with crushing blows landed by both. A thrilling final but Mutante just landed a few more big shots.
• Rony “Jason” Mariano Bezerra def. Godofredo “Pepey” de Oliveira via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) to become featherweight winner of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.”
NOTES: Not a great fight. Rony Jason landed a few more big strikes though to get the decision. Props to Pepey for taking the shots and keeping it competitive.
• Fabricio Werdum def. Mike Russow via TKO (punches) – Round 1, 2:28
NOTES: Shocking that Russow went down and stayed down. I guess the Werdum shot hit just right.
• Hacran Dias def. Yuri Alcantara via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)
NOTES: A pretty uneventful fight, not a great debut for Dias

PRELIMINARY CARD (FX)
• Rodrigo Damm def. Anistavio “Gasparzinho” Medeiros via Submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 1, 2:12
NOTES: Gasparzinho got completely destroyed and showed that he doesn’t belong in the Octagon.
• Francisco “Massaranduba” Drinaldo def. Delson “Pe de Chumbo” Heleno via TKO (punches) – Round 1, 4:21
NOTES: This was a great battle between Heleno wanting to take the fight to the ground and Massaranduba’s take down defense and striking. If it would have gotten out of the first, Heleno might have taken it but Massaranduba’s striking was just too devastating.
• Hugo “Wolverine” Viana def. John “Macapa” Teixeira via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
NOTES: A back and forth battle and by the third round both fighters were gassed. The decision could have gone either way but Wolverine show just a bit more in the third.
• Thiago “Bodao” Perpetuo def. Leonarda “Macarrao” Mafra via TKO (punches) – Round 3, 0:41
NOTES: Heavy striking to start as both fighters got their shots in. Bodao went to work and wore down Mafra on the ground in the second, and then a big right ended it in the third.

PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook)
• Marcos “Vina” Vinicius def. Wagner “Galeto” Campos via TKO (strikes) – Round 3, 1:04
NOTES: Great fight as Vina wore him down from his back first with upkicks and then hard strikes standing in the third
• Felipe Arantes and Milton Vieira fight to a Split Draw (29-28, 29-28, 28-28)
NOTES: A decent back and forth battle with some exciting kicks and first class BJJ
